Remove, Restore and Remount (3R)

If you're like many, you may have hundreds of old slides and negatives tucked away in a storage bin.  Through the years, those slides or negatives may have taken a beating and look pretty rough and worn out.  Although it may appear beyond repair, it most likely, isn't.  What we can do, is carefully remove the original film from the mount, clean it properly and perform a full high-res digital scan.  The scan is then digitally retouched and optimized to provide you with a perfect digital image which can easily be shared or printed.  Once scanning is complete, the film is then remounted into a fully encased, two-sided glass mount.  The glass mount is particularly valuable as it fully encases and covers the emulsion of your original film, preventing the possibility of any further scratches, wear or damage!  This ensures lifelong protection for your film!  Upon completion, your newly remounted film and digital high-resolution scan is shipped back to you at no charge.  (Digital image may be uploaded and/or sent electronically).

NOTE: The use chemicals and/or cleaning of film emulsions are of some risk.  Film emulsions are extremely sensitive to scratching and softening.  We take great care, in a clean environment when cleaning your films but damages may occur.  After initial inspection, should we feel the cleaning of your film may result in damage, you will be contacted.

NOTE:  We do not alter or conduct any image repair directly on or to the film.  All repairs are done on the digital scan of the image.  Scratches, nicks or pits on the original film will remain.
